When I think of comfort food I think of Mac and Cheese. There is something about it that just makes it perfect. So basically we are making a roux then add bits and bobs and we are good to eat. hehehehe
40g plain flour
Pinch of sea salt
300ml of Milk
Boil the Macaroni in salt water for 10 minutes on medium heat.Drain the water and place aside
Add flour until it’s a paste or it looks lumpy
Add milk and let it boil until the paste or lump dissolves. You can stir to help it dissolve quickly.
Add half of the cheese.
When It starts to thicken add the semi cooked macaroni and mix it together.
Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle the Parmesan and then mozzarella on top.
Bake until the top layer starts to brown and sizzle.
