5 Top Christmas Markets in England

The time is upon us where everyone is happy, more caring, generous and generally in a good mood. If you haven’t caught the bug yet, a visit to my top 5 Christmas market should do the trick.

Christmas markets are a great place to go to be in the festive mood. You find unique gifts , hear carol singing and enjoy traditional Christmas food. If that doesn’t help I am afraid you just have to wait for Santa.

So my top Christmas Markets are

1. Manchester Christmas Markets

Manchester has several markets in the city centre which offers a selection of gift ideas. There is German Market at St Ann’s Square, Arts and Crafts at Exchange Street and World Christmas Market at Brazennose Street. If you are going just for Christmas gift ideas, This is the place to be.

2. Edinburgh Christmas Market

Probably number 2 because of the distance. I love the fact that it has a traditional Christmas Market but also a Scottish market for locally sourced food and drink. Dont’ worry about the children as there are plenty of activities and carol singing to keep them entertained.

3. Southampton Christmas Market

Southampton Christmas market makes the list for the best sausages and live entertainment. Musicians have been booked to perform every day so you can shop, eat and shake a leg too.

4. Camden Lock – London

Best for mulled wine, carol singing and handmade gifts by local designers. I love the fact you can get a lot of personalised gifts.

5. Winter Wondeland – London

With Ice Skating, Circus, German markets and giant observation wheel what is not to love about this place. Just remember it gets really busy it gets closer to Christmas so book your trip as early as possible.

I am planning on going to several Christmas markets this year don’t judge!

Happy New Month and I pray this month solidifies all your plans and request for the year.
